Our central studio is in Matunga: ground floor, Chandrakutir Apartments, Bhaudaji Road, a short walk from King’s Circle. Like Goregaon, this is an area where you can skip the pickup entirely and simply bring the garment in.
Matunga is one of the few parts of Mumbai that still reads as a neighbourhood rather than a postcode — the market by the Central line station, the Udupi places that have been there for generations, Ruia and Podar and Don Bosco, the low-rises around Five Gardens. Worth knowing: there are two stations with confusingly similar names, Matunga on the Central line and Matunga Road on the Western. We are nearer the former.

Matunga households tend to be long-settled, and long-settled households keep clothes. Kanjeevaram and other heavy silks, zari borders, pieces that come out for a wedding and go back in the cupboard for two years. Those want specialist cleaning and acid-free packing, not a general wash — and if the piece matters, bring it in and let us look at it first.
Couture CareThe older buildings around Five Gardens and the Matunga East lanes have tall windows and the curtains to match, plus household linen that gets washed at home until it is no longer worth washing at home. Curtains, covers, bedspreads and comforters are handled as their own service, sized for the equipment rather than the machine in the kitchen.
Curtain & Home Linen CareRuia, Podar and Don Bosco put a large student population into the same few streets, most of it in rented rooms. For that, the useful thing is not a per-piece rate card at all — it is a flat price for a bag of everyday clothes, collected and returned.

Yes — that is handled under Couture Care rather than ordinary dry cleaning, and it is priced on sight rather than from the rate card. For heavy silk, zari or hand embroidery it is worth bringing the piece into the studio so we can tell you what is possible before starting.
One rate card applies across the business, priced per piece by garment type — every rate is on our prices page. Couture, bridal and heavily worked pieces are quoted individually. The Happy Bag is a flat price for everyday loads if you would rather not count pieces.
